My family and I have been fortunate to visit many amazing ski resorts and hotels over the years and have only stayed in the same place more than once on one or two occasions. We have stayed here three times and will be booking a fourth, fifth, sixth....By far the best place we have stayed in.The rooms are fantastic, the food is excellent (especially the fondue night and the cheese trolley), the location second to none in Morzine.But what sets this place apart is the staff! Family owned and run they make you feel like you are part of their family for the time you are there. No request is too big or too small.Can't wait for the pandemic to be over so we can go back and see the new extension!

This was our first visit to Morzine and we did our research before selecting a hotel....and it certainly paid off. This is a fabulous hotel. It is directly next to the Pleney lift or the train to the Super Morzine (for skiing Avoriaz) and you can ski back to the hotel via 3 different slopes. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The food is unbelievably good and the service impeccable. The hosts/owners make a huge effort to ensure everyone feels at home and go out of their way to help with anything that isn’t perfect. Some things for improvement (and note I’m being really picky) - the internet connection wasn’t great, only French channels worked on the TV in the room (yet international were on offer) and it would have been fantastic to have boot warmers or somewhere better to store boots so they could dry. Minor niggles though. We would absolutely recommend this hotel and would return again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This is our second visit to Morzine but first to this hotel. The hotel is in an enviable location right at the foot of the Pleney and when it snowed you can ski right to the door. It also has a good slope at the back for sledging with sledges available to borrow from the hotel. We were early on our arrival and our room wasn’t ready. So we left our bags, went to get our skis (from Berger ski as recommended by the hotel with a 20% discount) and went out for lunch. At this point I have to mention the skis even with the 20% discount we’re quite a bit more expensive than we could have got through our tour operator Inghams. We also got ski passes through the hotel which were the same price as the discounted online passes. Our room was the standard room and faced the lift. It wasn’t noisy but was perhaps a bit tired inside and not very spacious. Could really do with more hanging areas for coats and salopettes particularly as ours needed drying out as we had snow for a couple of days. Our daughters bed was fine for her as she is 6 years old but if you are any taller than a small child it would be too short. There was a coffee making machine in the room which had a few capsules included, a hairdryer and shower gel but no proper shampoo and conditioner. The shower was very powerful. Breakfast was as all french hotels croissants, crispy bacon, eggs, bread, fruit, cheese etc and opened at 7.30am. From about 4pm there were cakes in the bar area (not sure if tea/coffee was served as never had it). Dinner was from 7.15pm. The food was great - a buffet selection of starters, a choice of 3 mains, cheese and a dessert. The food was great, the only disappointing evening was the meat fondue and the seafood buffet. The cheese was amazing. A few hotels we have been to in ski resorts you get the same table for the whole of your stay so if you don’t drink the wine when you go back the next night this is on your table ready. Found that there were quite a few large groups which were doing a lot of table and chair moving around at breakfast and dinner which was a bit annoying. The bar area in the restaurant was lovely - as was Moon the dog. The ski locker room was tiny. Good to have your own allocated locker but ours seemed to be in the way of everything and people couldn’t get past when our door was open. So we had to rush putting on boots and finish putting them on upstairs outside the hotel. Always have had benches in the ski room before which would be a better idea. The main pool is cool and is sort of outside with a temporary cover in the winter. It was a good size. There were no loungers or towels around the pool. In the end we took the towels from the spa. The spa is open from 4pm and children could access until 6pm and has a spa pool, sauna and steam room. The gym just has a running machine and exercise bike. A bit disappointed with the maid service. I left her a note on a couple of days as she kept only leaving us two towels even though there were 3 of us. Also tissues ran out on the second day and they weren’t replenished. I also noticed they do a ski guide every day morning and afternoon slots. Unfortunately we didn’t take advantage of this as our daughter finished ski school at 12 and the guiding didn’t finish until later than that. Overall we had a lovely stay in the hotel in a perfect location. Beds were comfy (although pillows not so much) and even though we had a room facing the lift, it was quiet. The bar staff and reception staff were friendly and went over and above to help. I know we were in France but as there are a lot of English who go to this resort I am surprised some of the restaurant staff didn’t speak slightly better english. I know not directly related to the hotel but we travelled with Inghams and they were great especially the resort reps.

Wonderful position right on the slopes, great staff and superb food.

This hotel was top notch in every way. Most impressive was the kind host family on site at all times to ensure a great experience for the guests. The complementary breakfast buffet was amazing - even included fresh squeezed orange juice! The rooms are beautifully decorated in a crisp European style. To top it off, the location is within steps of a gondola or a little 'ski train' that will shuttle you across town to the Avoriaz lifts. I look forward to another visit!

Lovely, family run hotel right next to Le Pleney Telecabine. Hotel very comfortable with decent sized rooms. Staff very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately needed an emergency dentist for antibiotics but staff immediately made an appointment and drove us to the clinic. They were so kind and helpful.

We were recommended to stay here by The Morzine Tourist Office and were completely blown away by how perfect everything is here. The location is perfect , right next to the Pleney Lift and a very short walk away from the main bars and square yet so perfectly quiet and peaceful. All the staff were so attentive and couldn't have been more helpful, the food was absolutely delicious and our room was soo comfortable. it looks like it had been freshly refurbished. All the facilities at the hotel were exceptionally clean and everything you could wish for after a day on the piste. So pleased we stayed here and had the best holiday ever ! we will definatly be returning again,

This might seem a strange review as i did not actually stay in the Champs Fleuris this visit as we had left our booking too late to get a room. we ended up in an apartment in the town which was fine but soulless so we spent a lot of our trip in the Champs and enjoyed the hospitality and facilities the Hotel has to offer. We would like to thank Veronique, Justine, Max, Jean Marie and all the staff for their excellent hospitality and friendly welcome and for treating us like old pals. It was also great to meet the next generation - it wont be long before they are running the hotel. It was excellent to catch up with old friends staying in the hotel and enjoyed the food and bar service (make sure if you are resident in the hotel not to miss the afternoon Raclette day as it is one of the best experiences of the week). We stayed here for a ski holiday in January, what originally attracted us to stay here was the fact the hotel was right by the Pleney gondola so we could literally ski back to the hotel.When we arrived we were blown away by the quality of the hotel and how welcoming all the staff were. We stayed in a standard double room which is slightly on the small side but the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was lovely (although the shower was quite hot and we couldn't work out the temperature settings). We had a village facing room which had a balcony with seating provided. We travelled with some friends and the hotel had arranged for us to be in rooms near each other which was really helpful.When you arrive you are given a specific ski locker and code which you use all week and was perfect as it meant skis are kept separate rather than all piled in to one room which is what we have had in other hotels.The staff and food at the hotel was incredible. Each morning you are greeted by a friendly face and offered tea/coffee before enjoying a buffet style breakfast. In the evenings you had a buffet style starter followed by a choice of 3 main meals (meat option, fish option and vegetarian option). you were then offered a choice of cheeses to enjoy and finally were given a dessert of the day. The staff are so accommodating an friendly and were more than happy to substitute things out of the dishes when requested (we travelled with someone who couldn't eat gluten). unfortunately at the beginning of the trip a couple of our party fell ill and couldn't come down for dinner. The staff were so lovely and always enquired after our friends and offered to send some food up to the rooms for them instead. They seemed genuinely concerned about our friends being unwell and when they were better the staff asked how they were feeling.The spa area was lovely although only opens from 4 p.m. which was convenient for us after a full day of skiiing to soak in the pool/Jacuzzi area as well as access to a steam room and sauna. There is also an option to have spa treatments in the hotel although we didn't have chance to use these facilities.Opposite the hotel is the pleney gondola which is walking distance away and you can ski right back to the front of the hotel (so not lots of carrying of ski gear or getting on to busses!) By the Pleney gondola is a stop for a road train (which is a free shuttle) which collects people and transports them to the Super Morzine gondola. This service runs every 5-10 minutes and is so convenient to hop on and off.The town of Morzine itself has plenty to offer with lots of restaurants and bars and shopping areas. It is a beautiful place and we found ourselves just happy to walk around in the evenings as it is very magical with all of their lights etc.We would definitely visit Hotel Champs Fleuris again and could not recommend it enough. What made it for us was how wonderful the staff were but also the hotel is so perfectly located i dont know why people would want to stay anywhere else!
