The Portes du Soleil has 650 kilometres (400 miles) of marked runs, encompassing 12 resorts (8 in France and 4 in Switzerland); in France -Morzine, Avoriaz, Abondance, La Chapelle d'Abondance, Châtel, Les Gets, Montriond, St Jean d'Aulps and in Switzerland : Champéry, Morgins, Torgon, Val d'Illiez-les-Crosets-Champoussin.
