The Portes du Soleil ski area
The Portes du Soleil is one of the world's biggest linked ski areas, with 12 resorts straddling the French-Swiss border. With 650 km of groomed slopes and numerous opportunities for off-piste, you won't get bored here!
The Portes du Soleil enjoys an exceptionally good snowfall, thanks to it's amazing location between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, with an average 8m of powder every year. It's one of the many reasons why we get so many guests returning to ski with us at the Hotel Champs Fleuris*** year after year!
The Portes du Soleil ski area is fully open from the 18th December 2010 to the 25th April 2011. Good snow conditions frequently see these dates being extended: this year many Portes du Soleil resorts opened on the 4th December.
